The 4^th Edition of Lagos Central Senatorial District Town hall meeting of Senator Oluremi Tinubu took place at EKO CLUB, Surulere on Wednesday, 26^th September, 2012. The meeting was used as a platform by the distinguished Senator to give account of her stewardship to the people as a Senator of Federal Republic of Nigeria representing Lagos Central senatorial District. The theme of the fourth edition was ‘’Collective Responsibility: The Catalyst for Development’’.

At the meeting, Senator Oluremi Tinubu stressed the importance of the constitution as a document that spelled out how a particular country or society should be governed and as an important document, it should originate from the people it sought to serve and protect.

Democracy, according to her, could be deepened if there was a collective participation of the people. She therefore called for suggestions and feedbacks that would bring about the desirable constitutional changes that the nation had been clamouring for

She used the occasion to call on all groups and individuals, regardless of ethnic or cultural affiliations, to mobilise support for the pro-progressive people so as to attain the desired results for better Nigeria.
