JIDE JIMOH ON CONDOLENCE VISIT TO MAKOKO COMMUNITY.

The residents of Makoko in Yaba LCDA had been urged by the government to be patient and not to allow evil perpetrators to use the avenue of their protest to cause havoc in the state. This assertion was made by the Executive chairman of Yaba LCDA, Hon. AbdulRaheem Olajide Jimoh on behalf of Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola during his condolence visit to the Baales and the entire community on the death of one of their Baales during the demolition exercise.

The chairman said from time in memorial, Egun people are known to be peace loving, friendly and hard working people that have contributed to economic development of Lagos state. He therefore prayed that God will grant the departed soul eternal rest. He promised that appropriate measure would be melted out on the officer that shot the man. ‘’The police officer would be punished accoeding to the law’’. He said.
