The week-long  activities in celebration of 2012 Public Service Week kicked off on Monday 25^th June, 2012 at the council secretariat, Adekunle Yaba. The theme for this year’s celebration was ‘Capacity Development for the Implementation of the Transformation Agenda’.

The Vice Chairman, Hon Bola Lawal Olumegbon who declared the week opened on behalf of the Executive Chairman, Hon AbdulRaheem Olajide Jimoh wished the workers happy celebration and enjoined the staff to cultivate right thinking and attitude towards their  duties.

The Human Resource Manager, Mr Ayoko, during the Staff forum, enjoined the staff to change their attitudes towards their duties. According to him,the theme for the year centres on capacity development and training that will bring about total tranformation in governence, hence staff needed to embrace the right attitude, total commitment and dedication towards their duties.

Activities for the week include staff forum, games, sanitation exercise, talk show,football match, raffle draw and staff award.
