The Executive Chairman of Yaba LCDA, Hon AbdulRaheem Olajide Jimoh and his team paid a condolence visit to the family of Professor Adetokunbo Sofuluwe, the Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos who died on Saturday 12^th of May, 2012. The visit was also used to sympathise with the Academia community on the loss of the vice –chancellor who had contributed immensely to the development of the institution.

The chairman, while chatting with a correspondent, said Prof. Sofoluwe would be remembered in Yaba LCDA for his useful and timely advice to his government. The vice Chancellor was a member of the Yaba Community Advancement Council, a body which was a think tank to provide advice and to generate ideas and resources for the social, environmental and economic development of Yaba Local Council Development Area.  He prayed that God would give the family, the University community, his professional colleagues and the entire students the fortitude to bear the loss.
