YABA ORGANISES TWO DAY PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT TRAINING FOR CLERICAL OFFICERS.
The Executive Chairman of Yaba LCDA, Hon AbdulRaheem Olajide Jimoh on Wednesday 10th April, 2012 declared open a performance enhancing training for the council clerical cadre staff. The training, packaged by Southern Bridge Limited Management Consultancy, was aimed at equipping, broadening and developing staff potentials for improved productivity.
The participants at the two day training programme cut across various departments of the Council.
In his address at the official declaration of the programme, the Chairman said that the importance of training could never be over-emphasized. He stressed that any organisation that aimed at better and improved productivity of its staffers must be able to spend on the training of the staff.
He advised the participants to make the best use of the opportunity and to take the training seriously. He promised that Yaba LCDA would continue to see to the development and training of its staff.
Programme facilitators were Alhaji Fatai Oluwole, a former Directorin the Ministry of Local Govt. and Chieftaincy affairs, Mr A.T. Amusa, the Council Treasurer, Yaba LCDA and Mr O.P Ayoko, the Human Resource Officer, Yaba LCDA. Papers were presented on Correspondence Procedure and Office Routine, Structure of Local Government, Revenue Generation in Local Governments: Challenges and Prospects among others.
About 250 clerical staffers of Yaba LCDA participated in the training programme.
