Jide Jimoh Inspects Church Street and Makoko Road Rehabilitation Project……..Expresses his satisfaction on the job done.
Jan 29th, 2012 | By Akinlade Dada | Category: Lead Story, NEWS, PROJECTSThe Chairman of Yaba LCDA, Hon AbdulRaheem Olajide Jimoh pays an inspection visit to the Rehabilitated Church street and Makoko Road in Makoko as part of his commitment to see that jobs awarded are completed as at when due and made available for the use of the people.
The Chairman who was accompanied by the council Engineer, the contractor handling the job and some of the management team, was satisfied with the job done. The Rehabilitation of these roads, according to the chairman is part of his administration’s determination of ‘’continued transformation’’ of Yaba and its environs and the delivery of dividend of democracy to the people.
One of the residents, Mr Sulaimon Merege thanked the chairman for the project. He said the rehabilitated roads would remove traffic bottleneck and incessant hold up experienced by commuters. He therefore solicited for the removal of some of the abandoned vehicles on the roads and advised the people of the community to make the best and judicious use of the roads. He also pleaded for more dividend of democracy to the people of the community.

Sir, i appreciate the construction work you did in Makoko road. Some weeks ago, it was hell taking the route as an alterrnative road, but it has turn to history now. Thank you Local Government Chairman Yaba.
Sir, i was overwhelmed when i saw how you rehabilitate Makoko road. Barely three (3) months you took an oaths and we residents of Makoko is reaping so fast. I appreciate you Sir. It’s obvious that dividend of democracy is well pronounced in your administration. Well done Sir.
