The Chairman of Yaba LCDA, Hon Abdul Raheem Olajide Jimoh on Monday 28^th December had a meeting with the Drivers of the council. During the interaction, the Chairman stated that the era of business as usual had gone and that every staff of the council needed to put in a more pro active attitude to duty. Indolence or any act of idleness would not be condoned in the new dispensation. The chairman used the forum to announce major re-deployment and with immediate and effect.

The redeployment according to the chairman is to make them to be more dedicated, committed and productive on their duties. He called on the Human Resources officer, Mr Ayoko to formalise the changes and communicate same to the affected drivers.

At the meeting were the H R O, Mr. O P  Ayoko, Branch NULGE Chairman Mr. Ayinde Sheriff (a.k,a Olowe) and the Secretary, Mrs Omolara Afolabi and the drivers etc.
