Hon Doyin Rojaye takes oath of office as the Secretary to the Local Government Yaba LCDA.

The oath taken ceremony which took place inside the office of the Executive Chairman was administered by the council Legal Officer, Mrs Ganiat Anifowoshe in the presence of the Executive Chairman and other notable personalities.
The chairman Hon. Abdul Raheem Olajide Jimoh in his short address thanked God Almighty for the grace to be alive to witness the occasion. He described the occasion as an historic one in the anal of Yaba LCDA as its former SLG is being re- appointed again. He described Hon Doyin Rojaye as a committed, hard working and loyal person to his administration. He however reiterated that the era of business as usual had gone and that the administration is in for a serious business.
The appointment according to him is another clarion call to be more dedicated, hard work and give more selfless service to the people. He congratulated the secretary and wishes him more fulfilling tenure. The chairman used the occasion to announce the approval of the appointment of chief Olaiya and chief Osile as Bales in Yaba; this was to be conveyed to the State by the secretary.
In his response, Hon. Doyin Rojaye was full of praise to Almighty God. He described the appointment as another honour bestowed on him despite all the rumours, news that was flying around. ‘’ This is another call to service’’ he said. He promised to do more and not to let the administration down.
At the occasion were Alhaji Quadri and Alhaji Shakirudeen Farayola, Yaba LCDA and Lagos Mainland ACN LGA Acting Chairmen respectfully, Vice-Chairman Hon. Bola Lawal Olumegbon, Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon Bola John and other members of the Legislature, Alhaji Abdul-Wakeel Ojikutu, Council Manager and other Management team, Former Executive members, Bale of Iwaya, Alhaji Murtala Oloko and his chiefs and other dignitaries.
