Newly elected Yaba LCDA NULGE executive pays visit to the chairman, Hon. Jide Jimoh
Oct 24th, 2011 | By Akinlade Dada | Category: Lead Story, NEWS, UncategorizedThe newly elected executive members of National Union of Local Government Employee, NULGE (Yaba LCDA Branch) paid a visit to the Executive Chairman Hon AbdulRaheem Olajide Jimoh in his office on Wednesday 19th October 2011. The group led by the council Manager Alhaji Babatune Ojikutu called on the chairman to thank him for his support towards the success of the just concluded NULGE elections. The Council Manager said the election went on peacefully without any disturbances or bloodshed. He then enjoined the new executives to maintain a balance and conducive working environment with the government.
In his speech, the chairman Hon. Jide jimoh thanked Almighty God for the peaceful conduct of the election and congratulated the new executives on their success at the poll. He urged them to operate an all encompassing government where members of the opposing group would be carried along in the running of their government. He said no man is an Island or fountain of knowledge. They too have roles to play in the new government. He wished them a successful tenure.
The newly elected branch chairman Comrade Sheriff Ayinde (a k a Olowe) in his response was full of praise to Almighty God and also to the chairman for the success of the elections. He assured the Chairman of the support of the new executives and at the same time solicited for the cooperation and support of the Administration. The new chairman assured the executive chairman Hon. Jide Jimoh of government of unity of purpose. Other members of the executive present are Comrade Dania Damola Remilekun, Comrade Afolabi Omolara Modupeola, Comrade Ajayi Tunde Oluwatosin, Comrade Baruwa Rashidat Adunni, Comrade Adeniran Kofo Modupe, Comrade Nofiu Rafiu and all the Ex-officio members.
