The Egun community residing in Makoko riverine area of Yaba Local Council Development Area paid a visit to the chairman in his office on Wednesday 19^th October, 2011. The group led by Ambassador Aigbe assured the chairman of the block votes from the Egun community in the coming council elections. He promised that all hands were on deck in their community as both old, young and youths of the community had been mobilised for the day. In the visitation group were prominent heads in the community such as Bale Agoyon Vigan, Severin Aja, Emmanuel Shemend; others were Simeon Ja , Hon. Emmanuel Timothy and Hon Francis Timothy.

Similarly on that day, the Kwara South Youth movement (Residents in Lagos) paid a solidarity visit to the chairman in his office towards the coming council election. The group presented flex and souvenirs to the council chairman as their contribution towards the success in the elections.
